Meg is an urban planner with a varied background in housing policy and project management, having previously worked on the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) for the Southern California Association of Governments and on public housing redevelopment projects for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. Prior to moving to LA, she spent two years researching federal housing policy and displacement in Rio de Janeiro. She received her BA in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles.
