Josef is a native of Culver City, he attended CSULA earning a bachelors in political science and economics. He started his public service career serving as treasurer on his neighborhood council, later working for LA County, and recently left the Office of State Senator Sydney Kamlager where he was a field deputy for two years. He has always been motivated to hear the stories and learn the history of the places and people he meets, drawing some inspiration from the late Huell Howser. On his off-time, he can be found gardening, volunteering in Skid Row, or enjoying the time with his three dogs.
