Heidi joins the team after nearly a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, working to advance policies aimed at reducing homelessness and poverty. This includes providing direct services to families experiencing homelessness, administering housing programs, developing and advocating for federal-level housing policies at the Center for American Progress, and providing technical assistance and consultation to communities nationwide that are working at the intersection of homelessness and employment.

Heidi is a Southern California native and lives in CD4. She holds a BA in American Studies from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Policy from UCLA and loves journalism and international travel. She lived for over a decade in Washington, D.C. but is very happy to once again live near the beach and spend time with family in California.
